| Jusri and Melissa's WeddingAttended my colleague's wedding at Klang Centro Mall last Sunday. Let me introduce the newly wedded couple. Jusri, the bridegroom; he is an ex colleague and friend in HSBC. Needless to say, he is the one who interviewed me when i applied for job there 2 years ago. Without him i might not be in HSBC now. hahahaa... But now he is no longer in HSBC, infact he changed a couple of companies already after HSBC. All i know is that he is earning big bucks now. And the Melissa, the bride; so happened... yea, just so happened she is in the same batch of newbies training as myself. We were serving HSBC AU, then NZ, but now she moved on and served as AM with HSBC Taiwan. unlike me, still in NZ. hahaha... The card stated starting 7pm sharp but as usual Malaysian timing is always out. As for me, i dont like being late... not my style. So i left my house around 5pm. hahaha.... But there's reason to leave early also, cos have to pick up people along the way. Maxx and Nicole came to my house, they hop in my car and we head to 1utama tp pick up Fremont. After that head all the way down to Subang, meet up with Nikki and Amanda, as they do not know the way. So guided them from Subang Parade to the first toll, met up Adrian and Jenny. Then 3 cars convoy to Centro Mall, Klang. Unfortunately, i had to lead the way cos non of them is familiar with Klang. Actually i myself dont know where is Centro Klang, only know its somewhere near PeiYin's house. Tought of calling her if we ever get lost, but thank God we managed to find the way. ahahahaa.... And we reached there way early, around 6.15pm. So we walk around the mall before entering the ballroom. At 7pm sharp, we were standing at the entrance of the ballroom. And all we saw is a few chun chick at the reception table waiting for guests, the groom and also a ballroom filled with tables but no people... (-_-")... so, we're the first to arrive after all. haha... Was a good dinner, best is able to meet up with ex colleagues who left hsbc as well as having fun with current colleagues as well. (oh, an ex-colleague, Dev complaint i never update blog lately... okla, will update more yeah! hahaa... keep visiting.) Left Klang at around 11pm+... i think, around there la... however i reached home at about 1.30am. haih... what to do, being good person, i sent few of them home. Drop Amanda at Subang, then lead Nikki from Suabng back to Puchong, then drop Nicole back at office, sent Jenny back home at Nilai, then only i can go home... haih... But kesian Maxx, cos his car is at my house, so have to follow me all along and he have to drive home after that. And what's worst is he is working at 5am that morning. hahaa... But most importantly, we had fun. Woo Hoo!!! | | |
| SamanGot quite a few saman lately. hahaa... but thank goodness is not police saman la, if not my license will kena gantung by now. It's the "red saman", attended one last weekend. My church member's wedding. But that was a little different, because it's not dinner but lunch. Also the way he give the saman is rather weird. He gave my parents one, my brother and his fiancee one, my sister and myself one. What the heck!? so since he gave likes this, i also share the saman with my sis la, i only gave RM50 while my sis gave RM100, so together mai RM150 lo. :p evil evil.... Am gonna attend another one this weekend. This one is my colleague's wedding. Dinner will be in Klang, dont know some cinapek restaurant. most of us colleagues are invited. Too bad this one cant run away la... guess at least RM80 to RM100... ouch!!! Things are not gonna end this week. I still have another one pending... ah!!!!! This one is from my ex-colleague. i havent get the card yet though, but she did sms me. haih... die la die la.... pok kai liao la!!!!! | | |
| 48Fourty Eight hours of non sleeping is a very terrible thing... And that's basically what i've been through last weekend. hahaa... Lyn called me on a saturday morning asking if i wanna join them for a day trip to melacca. Wow!!! its been a while since i go outstation, lets go!! hahaa... After a while later she called me again, "john, pack some clothes to change la, we're staying there for the night." huh? what? staying there? uh...ah... okla. Then i remembered KC might want to join us as well, so gave him a call. Guess what? he says OK right away. hahahaa... And so the four of us, Lyn, EricTeng, KC and myself head to melacca at around 4pm saturday afternoon. (note that i am already awake almost the whole day) Eric drove there all the way, drop by at Lyn's mama's house. And out again we go. Basically its just a makan trip. We makan whatever Lyn said is nice. So we went to this Cafe where lyn used to work, then we head for sate celup. nice!!! :) We also went carrefour there for some shopping as KC did not bring any change. That night i cant sleep. I dont know why, its either the coffee i drank or am not used to the place. So i played games on my phone through the night. hahaaa.. I remember next morning Teng told Lyn "i woke up 5am in the morning and saw johngan playing game..." hahaaaa.. what to do, cant sleep. Went for DimSum breakky around 7+ in the morning. After that lepak at Lyn's house for a while, then we head out again for lunch. hahahaaa... Lyn's mama belanja us nyonya food. Tastes good, but i think the dimsum inside still not digested yet... so i didnt eat much. We start our journey back to KL at about 5 in the evening. Although am tired, but i try not to sleep in the car as to support the driver. hahahaa... thats what i usually do la, cos i know driving alone while everyone is sleeping is not a fun thing. I dozed of a couple of minutes, but the funny thing is when teng talks to me, i can still respond. ahhahaaa... Reached home at around 7pm+. I cant sleep yet, as i have to go for karaoke session with my colleagues. hahaaa.. took a cold shower to wake myself up, then drove all the way to subang and meet up with them. A colleague of mine, Maxx wanted to intro a girl to me. This girl, Erene is also from my office but different department. There's 7 of us there, among all 7, she is the only one not from my department... hmmm i wonder if she feels awkward. Anyways, we had fun singing, get to know each other, taking pictures... It lasted from 10pm till 3am in the morning. Wow, we're a bunch of crazy people. (Needless to say, i actually took leave for this event as i know she is coming :p) Going home time, Maxx made me fetch Erene home... aiyo... so malu. Anyways, that's how it goes. Sent her home, get to know her better. Took a slow drive home after that. Reached home near 4am. Then i was thinking, should i go to bed? because i made appoinment with EricLim for breakfast at 8am, cos he was on leave as well. I decided not to sleep, or else i would end up dead sleeping and miss the breakky session. So i took a shower and watch dvd. Think i played the wrong movie, was watching Warlords, i felt more and more tired trying to listen to their dialogue (cos they talk alot in the movie). At about 6am, i was like thinking... man, i should go to sleep and wake up later when eric calls. Turned off everything, washed my face prepare for a nap... then my phone rings. Huh!? who in the world message me at this hour la? See see... its my other colleague, Tony. Ask me wanna breakky or not. I dont know why, but i just replied OK. And we head out right away. Went DimSum with Tony at 6am... Then later meet up with eric lim at 8am. hahahaa... crazy!! When i was talking to Eric, i was blur blur already... head back after that, shower again and i went to bed straight. slept from 10am till 12am. (14hours of sleep) Then head to work after that... hahahaaa.... Just like what my colleague, Maxx said :"Work hard, but play hard at the same time." Erene and Johngan
haha
kumar looks like ghost at the side there...
Melvin, Maxx, Erene, Johngan, Tai
Last picture of the day... (only 5 of us left, amanda and kumar left early....)

| Lots of Things HappeningAh, again, its been a long time since my last update. Lots of things been happening recently. Well, we got olympic going on and just ended yesterday, we've got lots of political news on the media everyday, this and that.. blah blah blah... As for myself, nothing's more busy than work and work alone. well, yea actually not very busy at work but because of my shift timings that makes me look busy. Got my leave application declined twice this month, well its actually last saturday and last last saturday. Am gonna apply again this saturday and hope they'll approve it this time. I dont know why everyone is planning things and event on weekends this month, 2 weeks back couple of my colleagues planned for PD trip and that's when i get my leave declined for the first time. Then the following weekend, Ben and Joan is haivng a Steamboat party at their new house. And yes, this is where my second leave application declined. Just because i wanted to see BenJo's new house and join the gang, i swapped shift with a colleague last miute. Its like few hours before my shift starts i called him up. hahaa.. Thank goodness he agreed. But because of that i woule have to work 18 hours straight the next day. haih... wanna know more? ask me personally, cos very hard to explain in text. Now this coming weekend, my cousins is planning for a makan session among all cousins, cos we have not met each other for long time since we all started working. So hopefully will be approved this time. Tomorrow i will be busy again, busy cleaning up my room. Cos daddy gonna install aircond for me. woohoo!!! after so many years of suffering. (my room is the only room in the house without one...) Well, but say only he install la, i would have to pay for the aircond unit myself. But other things he will settle la, hopefully. What else do i have to say.... uh, i've been checking out motor trader lately, doing some shopping for automobiles. Man, the prices are crazy, esspecially the japanese tuners. Well, with my budget, i'd say local car is the best option but i put it as last resort. So far, am considering a second hand smart forfour, saw one selling bout RM50k, not sure ok or not la, cos its about half the price of a new car. But did some survey also, it seems like that's the market price for second hand smart forfour. Well, good for me, rather that than a proton. ahhahaa... Anyways, am not gonna buy now, just shop around first, who knows i might just end up with a Myvi. | | |
